Shopping for a Super Visa Insurance Plan That Suits Your Needs

  Super visa is a long-term, multi-entry visa for parents and grandparents of permanent residents of Canada. It allows them to stay for up to 2-years in Canada per visit and is valid for up to 10-years. By contrast, a multi-entry visa is also valid for up to 10-years but allows for staying up to 6-months per visit.  Who is eligible for a super visa? Precisely, parents and grandparents of permanent residents or Canadian citizens are eligible for a super visa. But when they apply for a super visa, they have to submit proof of super visa insurance along with the application, besides proof of child’s or grandchild’s invitation letter, proof of their letter of commitment to provide financial support during their stay in Canada, proof of passing an immigration medical examination, etc.  The super visa medical insurance has to have coverage of $100,000 for a minimum of 1 year, including coverage for health care, hospitalization, and repatriation.   When it comes to finding a plan with the ri
